Discreet Dating Apps is an independent review site for adults who want to date privately. We test discreet dating apps and sites with our own paid memberships, then explain in plain English what each one hides, what it shows and what it costs.

Our editorial team

Reviews are led by Dana Whitlock, who has tested dating apps since 2014 and focuses on online privacy. Every review is fact-checked by a second editor before it goes live, and every price and feature is re-checked at least once a quarter.

How we test

• Privacy (35%): incognito mode, photo blur and private albums, billing descriptors, panic buttons, location display and account deletion.
• Real activity (25%): replies over two weeks in three US cities and checks for fake or inactive profiles.
• Value (15%): real monthly cost across plans, including app store prices and renewals.
• Safety and support (15%): verification, reporting tools, support response times and each company's security record.
• Ease of use (10%): desktop site and both mobile apps.

Independence
